Apple Watch Series 10 Battery Drain after Watch OS 11 Update
Hi everyone,
Have had a new Apple Watch 10 since Sept 25, the watch was incredible up until installing Watch OS 11. Suddenly I now have an acute battery drain / seems constant without even using it, just sitting on my wrist. Disabled wifi, lowest brightness setting, smart stacks disabled, basically most of the useful features that this watch is designed for have all now been turned off and literally used the most simplistic watch face and it’s still just eating battery.
Tried multiple online battery saving tips and tricks from YouTube/Reddit/Google but to no avail. 100% this began with Watch OS11 as this device was so good up until then. Both the latest updates did nothing to fix this.
Fig 1. Updated WatchOS this morning to 11.2.
Note. Screenshot taken from IPhone 11 Pro Max using the Apple watch app today 13/12/24 @ ~0800-0900hrs.
I have installed the second Watch OS update that became available this morning and unfortunately still have the same problem. Took the dogs for a walk this morning, Fig 2 below, the only tracking performed for 45mins…. Watch drained from 98% —> 66%. 1hr later post walk, drained from 66% —> 44% just through static activity. Flux Watch Face without complications running at this time, no background apps left open, no use on the wrist.

Any insights into this or help would be greatly appreciated. Is anyone else having the same issues post updates ?
** Actively disabled Bluetooth to monitor fresh charge / battery life drain after seeing online tips. Seemingly slower battery drain since doing this and has only dropped 2% charge. **
