Why did Apple Pay charge my removed card?
I removed a credit card from Apple Pay a year ago. I used Apple Pay and it charged my removed card.

Do you remove the card from your Wallet app or Settings app? If you removed the card from Settings, it does not remove the card from your Wallet. The card in your Settings app is used for purchase through your Apple Account (formerly Apple ID). This would be subscriptions, books, music, games etc. Apple Pay is Tap-To-Pay at transaction terminals or online via a special link at the merchants checkout.
