How do I access Oticon hearing aid controls on my iPhone

I had a firmware update to my Oticon aids to fix an issue within warranty period. Also updated iPhone iOS to 18.2. Aids connect to Bluetooth but sound is not directed to/coming through aids at all (for phone calls, music, anything). Hearing center control shows no option for aids anymore, only phone or speaker.

Am no expert in this area, yet your post to the community deserves some response.

You might want to check the Settings to make sure your hearing aids are listed correctly.

For controls: Try: Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices

(You may be able to tap the name of your hearing-aids for more settings.)

If your hearing aids have an app: the app may offer other settings or controls

The hearing-aid's manual (or manufacturers support website) may have tips.

See: Use and customize Control Center on iPhone - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"Add a custom group of controls

You can add a new group of controls to Control Center.

  1. Open Control Center.
  2. Tap at the top left of the screen.
  3. Tap the bottommost icon (the little circle) along the right edge of the screen.
  4. Tap Add a Control at the bottom of the screen to open the controls gallery.
  5. Tap a control in the controls gallery to add it to the group.
  6. To further customize the new group of controls, do any of the following:
  • Rearrange controls: Drag a control to a new position.
  • Remove a control or a set of controls: Tap at the upper left of the control.
  • Resize a control: Drag the handle at the lower right of the control.
  • Add more controls: Tap Add a Control at the bottom of Control Center to open the controls gallery,

then tap another control to add it to the group.

  • When you finish customizing, close Control Center by swiping up from the bottom center of the screen."

If needed : You may want to Route and automatically answer calls on iPhone - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Call Audio Routing, then choose an audio destination".

"Tap Auto-Answer Calls, turn on Auto-Answer Calls,

then set the duration of time before the call is answered by tapping -- or + "
