i am looking to buy a second hand Ultra 2. the seller is offering a good price, but I am afraid it is fake.
on the photo of the box it says made in USA, but the model number is A2987 which I can see is China mainland.
hos does that make sense?
I live in Europe if that matters.
should I be scared to buy?

Don't. The Ultra 2 is brand new and still in high demand. There's a very real chance that it's stolen.
If the price is significantly below the retail price for a new one direct from Apple, something is wrong.
