MacBook Pro M2 logic board replacement query

It seems like if I search for logic board dead I only see old posts like 2015 and intel chips. Want to understand how can logic board get's dead when I just did not used the laptop for 2 months? What could be the reason? Either people are not replacing logic board because of cost or posts are not making to the community.

Provide the Reasoning:

So, what makes you say the LogicBoard has failed? Hardware is hardware, and all is prone to failure.

Condensation:

Condensation can cause this. If used in the bottom level of the house, then humidity can gather (with is what a dehumidifier is intended for). sing a keyboard cover or a screen protector can most certain lead towards condensation.

Is this covered under AppleCare?

If this is covered under AppleCare, then see about getting this serviced. Contact Apple Support from here for more.

Perhaps this is a Faulty Device?

How long ago did you purchase this? Is it covered under any warranty? I would assume that something is disconnecting from your LogicBoard and your screen. My screen flickered, and after sending it in for service 11 times, I was finally given a new MacBook Pro. You have a one-year, out-of-the-box, limited warranty. So, contact Apple Support, and have this diagnosed.

Getting this Diagnosed by Apple:

There would be no cost to it. Thing is, I do not think they would look at it if you do not set up a Genius Bar Appointment at your local Apple Store. So, et one up, seeing where things can go from here.

If you have never heard of a logic board failure with other brands of laptops – that doesn't mean that there are no such failures. It just means that you didn't hear of them.

I just did a Google search, and right away found a post from someone who had suffered a failure on a name-brand PC laptop. The repair shop said the fix would require replacing the logic board. The user declined to do that – and bought another laptop of the same brand, only to have the same problem pop up again. The user wrote:

"I'm so frustrated and worried that the motherboard is faulty on this one as well. I literally just finished paying off the first laptop, am still in the process of paying this one off, and absolutely cannot afford to buy a third laptop in less than 3 years."

Another post elsewhere said

"My piece of junk XXXXXXXX died after less than 3 years of very gentle ownership (motherboard failure). It had cost me $1,400 new. Just picked up this manufacturer refurbished YYYYY on eBay for ~$900 including tax. I have vowed to never purchase an XXXX product ever again."

where XXXX was a different name-brand PC manufacturer.

I am deliberately leaving off the manufacturer names because these may have been cases where the users were unlucky, rather than the failures being endemic to a particular model line or a particular manufacturer. My intent isn't to get anyone to boycott those two PC manufacturers, but merely to point out that motherboard failures DO happen from time to time, and not just to Apple computers.

It happened to fail just after a year, so out of warranty. They charged ₹2500 for diagnosis and sent me the quotation of ₹61000 for logic board replacement. Also mentioned verbally that touch id also needs to be replaced with that(not mentioned this in email though).
