Getting 'Internet Connect Required' error while accessing Apple Intelligence

Hi all,

I recently updated my system to Sequoia 15.2 (my device: Macbook pro M2) and want to try out the Apple intelligence. But I kept getting the warning of "Internet connection required" when I am connecting to WIFI and the internet access is stable. This problem still exists after I changed my system language into English(US) and region to United States.

Any response would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

hey pro, did you successfully resolve this issue by booting your Mac in safe mode or else? I have exactly the same problem as yours.

I noticed your user name appears to be in Chinese. Are you in China, by chance? If you are, Apple Intelligence is available in China.

Per the following link --> How to get Apple Intelligence - Apple Support (CA)

For China residents

Apple Intelligence will not currently work for supported devices purchased in China mainland. For supported devices purchased outside of China mainland, Apple Intelligence will not currently work if you are in China mainland and if your Apple Account Country/Region is also in China mainland.

When Apple Intelligence is available in the EU or China mainland, previously purchased devices that support Apple Intelligence will be able to activate and use it in that region.
