I subscribe monthly to Apple TV+ and watch it through Sky on my smart tv. All is good.
But the Library of films purchased and stored on my iPad and iPhone in Apple TV+ is not showing in the TV version of the app. I have read that "Library" should be listed down the left under Search but it isn't there. Can anyone explain please where I can find my library of purchased films on the tv app?

That will depend on the type of App on your Sky box.
TV+ is a subscription service for Apple's own content it does not include your purchases at all.
Your purchases on your iPad and iPhone are entirely separate to the Apple TV+ subscription.
Apps available for Smart TVs and cable and satellite boxes, can be one of 2 types. The TV app or TV+ app.
The TV+ app only offers access to subscription content and MLS.
The TV App offers access to the full iTunes Store, your library of purchases and channels as well as the TV+ subscription content and MLS.

Users of unsupported TVs may consider connecting an external streaming device that supports the full Apple TV app. That can be an Apple TV box, Roku, Fire TV, PlayStation (4, 5), Xbox (One, One S, X, S), ‘Chromecast with Google TV’-dongle, or Nvidia Shield TV box.
(Or use your TV as [second] screen for a laptop or desktop computer through HDMI.
