lost Apple watch after jump into water

Hello,

here with to adres  my grief. Loss of beloved Apple Watch.

I’m using Apple Watch for over 4 years, last I upgraded to series 8 about a year ago. Today my husband turned 30 and we went on a birthday trip to the mountains in Switzerland. There was a lake in one of the valleys so without any sound we went on the rocks to dive. High was about 1,5meter, which is not even considered a night for experienced divers. Once I jumped and got out of the water I notice my Apple Watch was gone! I have video of my jump where I enter water still with watch on my wrist, but once I’m out - the watch is gone.

I would like to request documentation and examples of trials that were made with Apple Watch Series 8, 41mm

I do not believe that a simple jump is meant to case a loss of a watch that is made for sports etc.

I got in touch with Apple and they told me they would only react if there were more cases like this...apparently I was the only one. They tried to tell me I did not secure the band...i mean come on, I use watch for 5 years for different kinds of sport, they agreed here.

But when I went online and started searching - I saw there are hundreds of people like me:( even on their own website people post about same loss.

I was only using Apple item, I trusted quality and philosophy, and now i discover how customers are just being ignore.

Few examples out of a sea of same problems:

Apple Watch Series 8, watchOS 10
