Apple TV app cause screen freezes with 160hz monitor

This issue triggered on start to watch Apple TV Video.

Status is like screen freeze and only cursor is moving.

sound is played and looks any other function is working other than display.

Only restart Mac could save the display.

Solution:

Downgrade display refresh rate to 144hz, 120hz or 60hz.

Apple TV + app works.

Amazing, only apple can do.

Here is information for when the issue happens

* Up to two displays: One display with up to 5K resolution at 60Hz over Thunderbolt and one display with up to 8K resolution at 60Hz or 4K resolution at 240Hz over Thunderbolt or HDMI

Thunderbolt 4 digital video output

* Support for native DisplayPort 1.4 output over USB-C

M4 Pro

Simultaneously supports up to three displays:

* Up to three displays: Three displays with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz over Thunderbolt or HDMI

So refresh rates of 60 Hz or 240 Hz are recommended. That probably means that 160 Hz shouldn't be used with this model Mac for best compatibility, as it isn’t a multiple of 60.
