Safari can’t connect to server
Turned modem & compute on & off. Wi-fi is connected. Other devices connect to WiFi & internet. Tried all tricks I read online.

So to confirm, you do not have any of the types of add-on apps listed?
Please download and run (free) EtreCheck, and when the run completes share the report to the clipboard. Then open a new reply here, and press the additional-text button that looks like a printed page to get a text input box big enough to paste the hardware and software configuration report here, and paste and post that report here.
If you have any add-on security apps, add-on anti-virus apps, add-on VPN apps, add-on cleaner apps, or browser extensions, remove all of those per the vendors’ instructions, restart, and test again.
