WhatsApp not receiving messages or calls on iPhone 14 Pro Max until app is opened

Again, a solution lies with the WhatsApp support team. Before contacting support, be sure you’re on latest app. They released 3 separate updates last week. That should tell you something about how buggy that app is.

You can have only one WhatsApp account on an iPhone. If you have multiple accounts then the device is jailbroken.

I am not sure what this is.

You cannot make a WhatsApp call to yourself on the same device. WhatsApp is designed for communication between two different users. While you can send yourself messages, audio calls, and video calls are not supported within a single device.
