My WhatsApp calls are not connecting and also not recieving notifications on iPhone Pro Max

— are you using WiFi or Cellular?

-> WiFi: check connection speeds (Speedtest)

-> Cellular: check if WhatsApp has permission to use cellular data

if so: check connection speeds as well

— check if your WhatsApp application and iPhone are updated to the latest version

Regarding notifications: you have complained about some notifications not making sounds, right? I suggested to you that you check if notifications and sounds are enabled for the respective areas you have problems in (notification settings), check if your notification sounds at a level you notice it (sounds and haptics), as well as to make sure that you do not have a focus mode enabled that cuts specific notifications short. 3. restart your device or force-quit WhatsApp

yet, most importantly, my guess would be that not you, but the person on the other end of the line has an issue with their network - in my experience, this was the only problem to ever occur affecting calls.

Regarding notifications, if you do not have focus modes enabled, your phone is not on silent (cautious with the action button), your notification and sounds and haptics settings are correctly adjusted, while not having Bluetooth devices like specific headphones connected, which could change notification behavior, I don’t know…
