Logic Pro X side chain issues

Hello,

I use Logic Pro X v 11.1.1 . When I set up a compressor on a track with a side chain to another track (for ex. in a drum tracks vis à vis a bass track), it creates a rhythm de-synchronisation between the tracks.

What should I do to solve this issue ?

I've tried to reproduce your setting as it seems you are pretty much using presets.

Some things:

  1. You are saying "When I set up a compressor on a track with a side chain to another track", but the truth is you set up a compressor on a track with a side chain from another track.
  2. What do you mean by "it creates a rhythm de-synchronisation between the tracks" ? Do you hear a doubled instrument? Or do you here Inst 4 is heavily compressing the drums, and the "de-synchronisation" is because of the side chain trigger and the not adjusted attack and release time?
  3. Although you can side-chain everything into anything, I've never (or barely) seen a compressor on a drum track getting a side chain signal from another instrument. The other way around is more common. What is Instr 4?
  4. What are you trying to achieve?
