How do I verify my payment information on Apple Account

I deleted the card on my phone prior to knowing that after I buy something in a game, it’ll ask me for my password and show me my billing stuff???

i literally put in everything and it was there, I COULD USE IT, but it just let me edit it??? then i restarted my phone, and it said it wasn’t verified anymore??? how do i fix this??? ive been stuck on this for ages and whenever I try doing something someone has recommended, it doesn’t work. I can’t see the tunes & Apple Store option on settings. is it because my phone is too old?? i have an xr. what do i do???

Re: How do I verify my payment information?

You can contact your card-provider. It is likely that the provider of your card needs your use of the card verified. Seems Apple is unable to charge your card, as the card-issuer isn't allowing payment of your purchase. (Eg: international payments may need to be authorised.)

Or: If you disputed a charge from Apple, you may need to contact your card-provider and authorise them to allow payments to Apple again.

Or

If your purchase wasn't approved by the card-provider, (ie: after you removed, then replaced it without verifying its use with the card-provider), then the purchase charged to your account needs to paid before you can use the account again.

It is unlikely the verification issue has anything to do with your XR iPhone's age. To ensure best security: you could update to the newest iOS available: Eg: You could check in Settings > General > Software updates to see if there is an update waiting to installed. (NB: It is wise to back-up your data first if you want to update iOS)
