Location services does not work since switching to new phone old phone was wiped of data
Recently purchased iPhone 16 pro max from cellular carrier and transferred data from old phone to new one but since then location says not found it keeps showing old phone talked with apple tech support an they can’t seem to resolve issue so went back to cellular carrier which said I needed to do a warranty claim with apple talked to apple support again an they set up appointment sent me to Best Buy store that is Apple Store affiliate to fix but when they ran diagnostic they say that old phone was not properly wiped so went back to carrier which said that apple should fix an only way to possibly solve issue is to return phone to them an pay restocking fee but not sure if it will affect plan an promotions received at time of purchase I had also purchased two other phones at same time an have had no issues just want new phone to work can’t understand why I have to pay restocking fee when phone does not work
