Updating an iPhone:

Other than updating through WiFi on your computer, you can use Cellular for your model, or update through a computer (Mac or PC, even). Also, disable any VPNs that are on whenever doing an update.

B. Backup Prior to Updating:

IMPORTANT: If you have an option to update, however, then be certain you backup your iPhone first. That way, you will have something to restore your iPhone from should anything go wrong with the update
