IPhone 7 with latest IOS 15.8.3 so it says ios is up to date.
Watch is a series 4.
It says ios needs to be a latest version, however it doesn't allow the update. On google it says this is a possible connection but can't connect. Please help..

Earlier iPhone models
Watch series 4 should pair with iOS15 unless the watch has been updated with a later phone to OS9 or later, in which case they are incompatible.
Did you try to erase the watch without the paired iPhone and then pair it again to your iPhone?
