Pages File Export to PDF Keyboard Shortcut

I finally worked out how to export a Pages file to PDF.

Go to System Settings

Keyboard

Keyboard shortcuts

App Shortcuts

Pages

Click the + to add your shortcut

Application - Select to Pages

Menu Title - 'File->Export To->PDF...'

Keyboard Shortcut - I used F13 on my Numeric Keyboard Black

Or use any key sequence that is not in use already

Click Done

Then you MUST restart your computer.

Then test your new shortcut in Pages - It works

I have a MBP 16" running Sequoia 15.2

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.2

I've used Control + Command + P as a shortcut for save as PDF for years. Here is a screenshot from Mojave & it continues to work in Sonoma (I do not have Sequoia installed). I have found that you don't need to enter the whole path in System Preferences/Settings > Keyboard > App Shortcuts. Just the final menu name is sufficient. You do need to make sure that you include the ellipsis (… = Option+;) if that is part of the name.

Since I do a lot of "Paste & Match Style" in both Numbers & Pages, I have set that as ⌘2. That one doesn't work on all apps such as Mail, so I had to set it up individually.
