when updated iOS to 18.2 on iphone15 pro max number of emails and messages contained in icons no longer appear. Is there a fix?

8jan25 - found it! Since the badges would come and go at seemingly random times and when cycling the iPhone/ipad on and off it had to be some setting that manages what you see and when; the Focus feature is the culprit. In Settings-Focus , turn it all off. There is a bug with the feature.
The Focus feature on iOS is designed to help reduce distractions by filtering notifications and apps based on your current activity or location. So the feature is not only limiting those notifications, it is also disabling the badge feature at the same time that it is trying to filter.
That’s it!! Thank you! Hopefully, Apple will fix it in next update.
It is the iOS update if everything worked just fine until the update was installed. Simple logic. I wish there was a restore checkpoint like they have on Dell PCs.

Yes, after the last Upgrade I cannot see any badges of unread emails, message, etc. in all apps 👎👎👎

Okay, now it is annoying. I am running 18.3, i have tried ‘reset all settings’, and a plethora of other suggested fixes and nothing works. I can turn the iPad/iphone off and restart, the badge count shows up for mail/messages then when you go into the app and exit, it disappears.
