Push notifications not going to new phone

I just noticed my new phone didn’t get an airline push notification concerning flight , it went to old phone … I did the transfer data as instructed but having issues. iPhone 16 pro max.

I tried everything (restart, multiple re-downloads, full wipeout of iPhone settings) and nothing. Some ios17 features just not working Hi all, I have an iPhone 13 Pro, running iOS 17, but a lot of the features just won’t work. Stuff like leaving a video message on FaceTime, continuous conversations with Siri, Using Siri without “hey”. Oh, and AirDrop is just a disaster., doesn’t work at all. Also, I’ve only tested this with one other iPhone, but it doesn’t seem like my contact poster is sending to the other iPhone (also running iOS 17)

Push notifications go to my old phone I've bought a new iphone SE, synced it with my old one without removing anything on the old, and when I receive push notifications, they do not show on the new one. They still go only to the old one. I've tried turning my old phone off, but the new one still wasn't receiving any notifications. I also restarted the new one, issue still persists.

You need to have an SMS/MMS plan enabled by your carrier for the SIM/eSIM that you use on your device. Apple Inc. does not provide SMS/MMS services.
