My apple pay is stuck on the “ Hold near reader” I have tried everything from restarting my phone to open and closing all apps. It’s not the shop too cause my friend’s with the same card as me paid using hers.

Try downloading the free app, NFC Checker and see if your NFC is activated. If it’s not active the NFC module is likely defective.
