when holding down on photo instead of being a square it zooms into a whole video and i don’t want it like that i want it to be recorded in a square frame like the 13 pro max. anyway i can change it like that or no?

I'm not exactly sure what you want, but you can crop videos to the shape you want-- will that do?
If you select the video and choose Edit
then you can choose the Crop tool:
If you select the little block near the top for "Aspect Ration" (meaning width and length sizes)
then can choose "Square." Or lots of other sizes, as well…
For still pictures, you can choose "Square" (which cuts off the sides) before you take the picture, but in Video, as far as I can tell, you have to do that afterward.
