So I was using my MacBook Air 2 days ago , I was on safari watching YouTube Videos and it had a pink screen and it crashed , I tried turning it on , it crashed again, it then took me to the Startup screen that had recovery and disk utility, I don't what to do cause I'm scared to break it because its my dad's work laptop , he installed third party apps I think that's what led to it crashing, I tried reinstall MacOS Ventura but it crashed mid way
Simply watching YouTube vids will not have caused this problem. Something else is going on.
You should tell your dad what has happened so that the both of you can address the issue and work to fix it.
This may or may not be related to any software that has been installed. It could easily be a hardware problem.
Exactly what year MacBook Air is this we are talking about?
What is the current status of the computer? Does it start up at all?
Do you get any error message when you start it?
