No duplicates showing up in duplicate album
How can I see duplicates on iPhone 16 plus iOS 18.2 photo app no duplicates are showing even though I know I have some duplicates?

It can take quite a time (like weeks) for Photos to scan all your pictures. Comparing pictures does require a lot of computing power-- so much that it would interfere with your using the phone for other things. So it doesn't scan when you're using the phone or when it's running on battery. Be sure at night to leave the phone plugged in (maybe better by cable) and locked with good internet.
