How can I adjust Spoken Content speed in iOS 18.2?

I have had this issue for many many months. This actually existed on the iOS 17 version and continued into 18. When it says 2X speed it’s actually 4X speed. I re-created this by recording the speech rate and just basically multiplied it and figured out that 2X is actually 4X so just double your expectations. I wish Apple would fix this because it’s a huge problem for people who rely on this accessibility.

Eg: says:

To adjust the speaking rate:
