Malware Bytes performance on iPhone

Speaking of Malware and Anti-Malware applications, what are the communities insight about this particular program? I use it on all of my computing equipment PC and Mac's alike as well as my iPhone. Thus far I have not experienced any negative issues with it as it seems to be doing the job I have been paying for.

There's no reason to pay for Malwarebytes on any Apple device.

Generally yes Malware Bytes is not absolutely necessary assuming the user uses a bit of common sense such as:

  • Not using a Torrent to download software that was not paid for.
  • Downloading anything from a site that is not trustworthy.
  • Succumbing to scams such as phony tech support phone calls, e-mails, texts.
  • Visiting web sites that is not trust worthy
  • There are many other foolish things users can do to fall for downloading malware, use the rule "If it sounds too good to be true then it is!"

However that being said, Malwarebytes is safe and if you do find yourself with malware it can remove it.

Not as much as on an iPhone which has things much more locked down (though the EU and some other countries are making this less the case), but I've been using Macs since 1984 and have never contracted any malware so have felt no need to have any sort of antivirus other than running Malwarebytes from time to time just to check to make sure I haven't let any adware sneak in or, back when I was working with and supporting Windows users, to make sure I wasn't inadvertently forwarding any Windows malware. If you practice "safe computing", there should be no need for anything else.
