What causes Screen Flickering on MacBook Pro M3?

You can plug in an external monitor and compare your results...

It sounds to me a hardware issue—display, display assembly, display cable(?)

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment

Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"

plug in an external display or TV set is good advice.

another way to check is to capture a screenshot, and see if the off-color and/or artifacts are captured in the screenshot. If not, they are VERY likely cause by the display Hardware.
