What should I do if my iPhone 14 won't turn on?

This happened once before recently and the screen finally responded to my button holding, but this time it’s staying black. I charged the phone overnight and now the screen doesn’t respond. When I hold the volume up and power buttons together (or volume down) nothing happens. When I hold just the power button, I get the regular response as if Siri is there listening for a command. But nothing on the screen.

i just tried Find My Phone and it plays the sound fine.

It sounds like a hardware (screen? digitizer? other internal component?) failure but we, just users like you, cannot diagnose that issue remotely, sorry.

I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> https://locate.apple.com/choose-country-region . After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
