Why can't I edit photos on Facebook on my MacBook Air?

I cannot edit photos in any Facebook group my MacBook Air, when I click edit, the picture looks dark and fuzzy, the edit tools won't work, why?

Can't access the photo library on Safari (Monterey 12.6) This is my first macOS-powered device, so excuse me if this is a lame question. Whenever I am trying to upload a photo to Facebook (or any other website including this one,) in the dialog window I can only access photos from Media / Photos / Favorites, the rest of the images are simply not visible. I tried to add Safari via Security & Privacy / Photos, but there are just no apps in the window that I could check. What could be a workaround here?

Picture to facebook I have been uploading photos from my computer to facebook marketplace for over a year and last month it just stopped working, the spinning wheel of death just keeps spinning and it never uploads. not sure if its the old mac (8 years) or something with Facebook, tried starting and signing in and out several time for the past 3 weeks and still nothing.

That would be a question best asked of Facebook support, though you can try a different web browser and see if that makes a difference.
