I have a friend who, when he texts some folks with his iPhone to their iPhone, they are all in blue bubbles, yet others are in green bubbles. Such as to me. I have had him power down his phone, check settings for iMessage, SMS & MMS. He has an IPhone 12 with the latest software update. He is on WiFi, as am I, but still we both show green for him. What more can he check?

Thank you! Here he had his "Start new conversations" set for his e-mail. Once he changed it to his cell phone number, everything started working. Thank you for your help!

I do have a question for you, Jim. How do you get the grey block of text with the persons name and their question above your replies? Doesn't look like a screenshot, and it seems super helpful - especially on longer threads. I'd like to be able to do that as well at times. Thanks in advance!

When you reply to a message, one of the options you see are the "Quotes" that will bring up the post you are replying to.
Some iPhone to iPhone texts are blue and some are green
