I have an iMac OS13.7.2 connected to a Canon MX475. For approximately 1 week when trying to print, the printer initialises but fails to print. Any items attempting to be printed do go into the print queue.
However, when the printer is connected to my ageing iMac with OS 10.11.2 the printer prints normally.
What is the problem and how do I resolve it?
Try the latest driver released about two weeks ago, might fix:

Looks like an issue with WiFi - does it work direct-connect? It’s possible that the later macOS isn’t compatible with the Canon’s outdated WiFi - consider buying a new printer.
I have followed the instructions and downloaded the recent driver. The problem still exists: the printer initialises but does not print although documents to be printed form part of the printer queue. There is still no problem with the iMac running OS 10.11.16 whereby the printer behaves as normal
