Apple CarPlay not working for Nissan sentra

I have a 2019 Nissan Sentra SV and I use an up to date iPhone 14. For some reason I’m not able to connect to my car’s CarPlay settings. I’ve tried buying a new cord and connecting it through different outlets but for some reason nothing seems to be working. I’d really like some kind of help if anyone has any answers. I’ve tried restarting my phone and that also hasn’t helped. I went to my car dealer and a one of the employees suggested getting an adapter for the original iPhone charger but I can’t seem to find any nearby so I’m looking for some kind of help.
