What do you mean "to charge even though its not charging"?
If its not charging, then it's not charing.
If you explain what is going on in detail, someone may be able to advise.
Not sure what an SD pin is.
As long as sit snot metallic it should be fine.
Don't put metallic items in the port as you can cause further shorts.
Also, if using wireless charging, the charge icon may take a moment after removing it from the charge before it stops and removes the charging icon. This is normal as the wireless charging could in the phone keep some charge for a few brief moments after being removed.
I’m not sure if this person is talking about the same thing but I’ve had my phone randomly show that it’s charging when it isn’t plugged in.

Plus, I don’t use the lightning method to charge frequently. I only do wireless charge.
