Is there an adapter to use Anker USB-C Hub with MacBook Air?

I would like to connect a monitor to my laptop and have a ANKER USB C Hub to connect but the lightening port is not compatible. I understand the lightening port on newer macs are compatible. Is there an adaptor I can purchase?

Sorry it is a Thunderbolt port.
An adaptor for the Anker 322 USB C Hub to connect the laptop to the monitor and using an HDMI cable from the monitor to the Anker dock.

In that case, then no, that is not going to work, and there is no adapter to make it work.

Thunderbolt 2 does not support USB signals which the Anker hub requires.

It will be much easier to just get a Thunderbolt 2 / Mini-Display Port to HDMI adapter.

What exact model of MacBook Air do you have?

Mac's don't have any Lightning ports. Lightning ports are only found on iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches.

Macs can have USB-C ports and Thunderbolt ports (very different to Lightning).

Are you looking for an adapter for the Anker dock? Or to connect the display directly to the Mac?

If the dock, what model of Anker dock is it?

Which devices are you trying to connect via "lightening port"?

The devices use lightening port are iPhones/iPad/iPod/older magic keyboard and mouse.

Lightening port looks a bit like USB-C port though.

There are many USB-C --> Lightening connector or USB-A --> Lightening connector.

Monitors these days - use "Thunderbolt/UBS-C", Display Port, Mini-Display Port, HDMI Port and good old DVI/VGA ports..
