What are the current features of AirPod Pro 2 in the UK?

If I purchase the AirPod Pro 2 now in the UK what are the views from the community that the hearing aid function could be turned on/made available as soon as they are approved by the MHRA? It's not a separate device for the UK is it? It's just a software approval and availability thing right? So I could purchase them now and use them with existing functionality and then get the added hearing aid functionality on the same device once approved?

Are Hearing Aid features in Airpod Pro 2 available in the Philippines? But the Philippines is not listed on the apple website that allow the hearing test and Hearing Aid features.
