iPhone search no longer showing WhatsApp as an option

I used to be able to pull down from the Home Screen and type a contact’s name in, and I’d get the WhatsApp icon and their name under “top hits” - could then click through directly to the chat. Now when I do this search, WhatsApp doesn’t show and I have to go into the app and search the specific chat there. Also WhatsApp message/ call is no longer showing as an option in Contacts. This happened suddenly! Not a massive deal but I like being able to go straight to a specific chat I need, without getting distracted by the mess of my WhatsApp home feed. Any suggestions appreciated!
