Battery percentage not showing on MacBook Air M2 widget

The battery % used to show on the widget on the desktop of my MB Air M2.

A few days before I updated to Sequoia 15.2 I noticed that instead of showing the battery percentage on the widget on my desktop it now shows the green ring around each device to symbolize how much battery life I have left. It now only shows the numerical percentage on the taskbar. I’ve attest gone into system settings>>control center>>> battery & turned “show percentage on”. Doesn’t work. I’ve tried to toggle it off & on & even tried to restart the computer & it still doesn’t show

Hi yes. I’ve removed it multiple times & added it back. I’ve gone into settings & turned off show batt % & rebooted the computer & then turned it back on again. I’m by far means a newbie with this lol, but I can’t fathom how it was there one day & completely gone the next. Here’s the crazy part. Once I updated my Mac to Sequoia 15.2 & the computer restarted it showed the percentage on the desktop widget briefly then went away 🙆🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️. If I solve the problem on my own I’ll def be back to post in case anyone has this issue
