Check Battery Health on Big Sur

The apple store just updated my Macbook Pro from 2014 to the Big Sur 11.7.10 to see if it would make a difference in the system. In order to see if the update worked, I need to check the battery health.

I am having trouble checking the battery health, since none of the instructions online mimic the screen. Attached is a screenshot that shows that the button for battery health is not available. Can someone please help me locate the battery health?

Thank you.

You can also Option-click the battery icon to get the battery health if it is anything other than "Normal". If there is a "problem" with the Battery, then you will see "Service Recommended", otherwise there will be no condition listed. Unfortunately the "Service Recommended" condition is a very broad category so don't worry about the battery condition until the battery is no longer performing to your expectations.

Also, the Battery System Settings panel can vary a bit between different versions of macOS, and between Intel & M-series Macs, and even by the model (older models don't have all the features of later models).

This worked - thank you so much!!

Seems my battery is fine. Should I be concerned about anything (attached photo)? I do not live in the country, so I'd like to be in the clear before heading back.

I am thinking that I may need to get a step down transformer, since the electoral outlets voltage is 240 volts where I live and it's only 120 volts in the US. Could the difference in the voltages caused my laptop to die?

Thanks again!
