Can I trade in an iPad Air 4th generation if it had coffee spilled on it?
It worked after I dried up the coffee, but it won't charge now

Hello~ It’s probably going to be considered liquid damage and of no trade in value. As *dwb* points out …there could be potentially be some value if sold for parts only.

When you initiate an online trade-in you are asked several questions about the device including “does it work”. Honesty would be the best policy and I don’t know if you’d be offered any value or not. What I do know is that once it is received, it will be evaluated and tested. The last time I had a broken device that had usable parts, I sold it on eBay.
Thanks for your reply. I told them exactly what had happened and they said I should get it checked out at the Genius Bar to see if it can be fixed or it's a total. My guess is it's a total.
Thanks, I think you are 100% right. I think that's what I'll do. Thank you for your reply
