Trying to cancel monthly Apple care since my card expired. I’ve followed the instructions, but when I go to cancel subscription, it says I have no subscriptions even though Apple keeps sending me emails that there’s a billing problem. How can I get this cancelled?

Every situation can be different. So varjak paw's advice to call Apple Support was the best solution for you. I'm glad you got it resolved.
If your card expired and you missed any payments before you tried to cancel AppleCare, you need to put in a valid credit card and pay what you owe. THEN, you can cancel it.
Then contact Apple Support and discuss the problem with them.
