Fans on Macbookpro.16 inch 2023 The fans or showing inactive, in the program im using to monitor hard drive as well as battery levels ... I notice that this issue had to have been something stoping the computer from getting the air it needs to stay stable . So I would just like to reach out to see if this is happening to mostly Mac books of the same model so I can take it back to the store for a full refund.

Run the diagnostic.
Part way through, it runs the fans at their fail-safe level of MAXIMUM. The noise is unmistakable. Since the fans also have an RPM sensor, if they are not operating correctly, it will FAIL the diagnostic.
if it passes, your new Mac is really cool (so the fans are not yet needed).

Just curious: What exactly is this app you are using?
If Overheating:
If things feel hot, then use a laptop cooler, keep it out of directly sunlight, and don't use it in the corner of the room or desk.
