Malware Scanner for MacBook Pro

Hi!

I just got a scam email with a PDF, and for some reason, I CLICKED the PDF. Curiosity, maybe? I guess I was thinking I was fine so long as I didn’t actually download it. Which I didn’t. It opened in the browser. Like, a preview.

It was a weirdo document filled with threats and demands for $2000 in exchange for their silence on scandalous acts I didn’t commit.

After the fact, it occurred to me that I should definitely not have clicked the PDF. I have two tech savvy brothers. Both say I’m probably fine, but one suggests I run a scan to make sure my computer wasn’t infected.

I’m terrified to download the wrong thing, though. I’m waiting on my brother’s advice, but I REALLY need to use my laptop tomorrow morning, and I’d like to have this handled before then.
