iPhone 15 Hacked During eSIM Activation: Second iOS Ready for Setup

Right now, after a data reset (factory reset), I see an encapsulated iOS ready to be triggered for setup if I enter the password I successfully set after the reset.

Let me take a step back.

I recently unboxed a new iPhone 15; iOS 17.??

Although I had it on lockdown mode (I am a target of persistent hacking), I think the phone was hacked when I activated the AT&T prepaid eSIM card.

I recorded this video during the eSIM activation: https://vimeo.com/1044865020

But clearly, there was something wrong because I could not get the *225# to work or call the IRS.

I recorded this video to illustrate the malfunction: https://vimeo.com/1044872507

I went to an AT&T store, and explained my situation, and the number that appeared under the eSIM card that was registered on the iPhone, does not meet the standards for number activated here in Las Vegas, namely 110041390022391

So I did what I think is a factory reset (delete everything and get phone ready to be transferred). In this video, the data factory reset progress bar is only filled partially. I don't know if that reveals something continued to be wrong despite the reset: https://vimeo.com/1044872507

Then, I went through the setup of the phone, and after I agreed to the terms, I saw the screen asking if I wanted to transfer another nearby phone AGAIN, and this scared me and I powered off the phone. When I powered it back on, I saw the setup screen again. But low and behold, when I tried to slid the screen up, the keypad for the phone's password appeared. I recorded this video to illustrate what I call and encapsulated iOS within the primary iPhone's iOS: https://vimeo.com/1045566984

Originally, here at discussions, I had created the account VeroMex, but after I logged back into the community, I was asked to set another username again. I checked that VeroMex was taken, and I set the new name as VeroMex2. I imagine that hackers may trick this message away or silence it, because I was already logged in through account.apple.com, I was required to re-login for this discussions.apple.com and a few minutes ago, I was auto-logged out from the other tab where I had the account.apple.com logged in.

P.S. Given the struggles I have experienced for the last 7 years, I often record much of what happens when I interact with technology.

If you are a high value target of a repressive government, a political dissident, etc., here's what you need to do:

Get rid of your smart phone. Buy a dumb phone. Contact the FBI. Stay off the internet.

If you do not fall into the above categories, your phone is not being hacked. I am very confident that this is the case. You are NOT being hacked.

Good luck.

Me too. I have had 16 devices hijacked before ever registering them. I suspect its something with the identity provider for carriers. I also use att. Ive questioned them to no avail as well ad Apple support. I dont believe lockdown mode is helping. My hacker has been on me for 5 years and 4 phone numbers. Tried everything. Please share if you find out anything as our issues sound similar. Thx!

Nope. That simply didn't happen.

You need to look for another explanation for your problems. You have not been 'hacked'. Your devices are not being hacked before you register them.

I have to be brutally honest. That's just plain paranoia.

I think the encapsulated iOS was the best thing that could have happened, because with Androids I sensed there was a second operating system at work. I mean it takes longer for the device to go through the splash logo. If you take a video of the very first time you power the phone, and if a device is hacked with a child OS, and you record another video powering on the device, then you accurately measure the difference.

I could not have planned for this to happen.

And to say that an encapsulated child iOS is not being hacked, that I am paranoid... well... as we know... we are in bizarre times. The law no longer is the law. So please use your capacity to reason as opposed to listening to influencers who have their own agenda as a priority
