My iphone 14 was upgraded to 16.0.3 a year ago. I never upgraded to 17.6.1 when it was offered. Now it wants to upgrade to 18.2.1. Can I directly upload to 18.2.1 when I didn't upload 17.6.1? There's an esim app that I'd like to use and it requires 17.4 or more.

Open Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Software Update: You will be offered to update your iPhone to the best available iOS update. Choose and update your iPhone to the latest iOS version offered.

When you tap Settings > General > Software Update, you may see an option to update to iOS 17, so you may need to scroll down further to see the option to update to iOS 18.2.1
