Can I update ios 17.2.1 to 17.3.1 without updating to 17.3?

My iphone14 was in ios version 17.2.1 before and I haven't updated to 17.3 when it is arrived.

Now I got another update to 17.3.1 and I did it. But when I see the series of update from 17.2.1 without updating to 17.3, I updated my device to 17.3.1. Basically, one update in the middle I missed to do.

Is this 17.3.1 update already include the update of 17.3 (?) or did I miss the features of 17.3 now?

iPhone 14, iOS 17

If you've overlooked an update, you won't be able to retroactively install missed iOS updates. However, by updating to the latest iOS version, you automatically incorporate all previous features and enhancements.

This emphasizes the key point: you don't need to worry about missing past updates, as the latest version incorporates everything that came before.
