Second/hand MacBook with Active AppleCare + , but withouth receipt

I bought an second-hand MacBook Pro 2021 (previous seller bought it in 2022) with active AppleCare + for Enterprise until 4th of August 2025. I don't have a receipt of the MacBook nor the AppleCare+ but i do have the number of the AppleCare agreement. It is paid in advance.

Thanks, but what i ment is if Apple will ask for a receipt when i need to claim an repair using AppleCare+ or won't they ask it because it is already linked to the device ..

The AppleCare+ is tied to the Serial number— if this is your Mac and the link above shows your AppleID and associated Mac — then yes you are covered.

you can review the detail for your particular country.

If you sell or give away your device, you might be able to transfer your AppleCare plan to the new owner.

When your AppleCare+ plan expires, you will receive an email from Apple indicating that you have 45 days from the expiration date for renewal eligibility. You should confirm with AppleCare that they have your Apple ID email address and that you are the current owner of this Mac so that this expiration notice won't be sent to the previous owner.
