Cannot Connect To Apple Store

I can't seem to find the reason why. I've tried everything that has been suggested online:


  • System Status page says the App Store is online
  • My device is connected to the net & working beautifully; I don't have a VPN / 3rd Part Security. Wifi is not being used, as ethernet is connected directly.
  • I don't have a different network to check with.


  • Software being used: MACOS Monterey 12.7.5 (on a 2019 iMac 27")
  • Date + Time are set correctly; tried both, automatically set + manual
  • I've signed in & out of my the App Store + my Apple Account.


I am not too sure what else to do, and desperately need this to work in order for me to update my Logic Pro X software.


Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

FYI, my issue was resolved with a call from Apple Support via their Chat help. While screen sharing, they reset my log in credentials, on their end, to allow access to my App Store account.


I had a similar occurrence years ago, when setting up my Apple log-in info. It took no small amount of detective work to fix, but it was ultimately resolved. FWIW, the tech that assisted me today did mention the recent App Store outage was a contributing factor.

UPDATE: I spoke to an Apple representative via chat, and he basically said that I have to update my OS (currently using Monterey 12.7.6), as the App Store doesn't work with anything prior to OS13.


Unfortunately, I can't upgrade my OS as I am using softwares (such as Pro Tools, etc.) that don't work with newer OSs; buying newer versions of all these softwares is a lot of money. I can't upgrade my Logic Pro X software either, as it's only available at the App Store.


So, basically, all of us using any OS that's not 13 or higher, are stuck. :(
