Password issues with Netflix and Cricket apps on VPN

Trying to apply gift cards on two accounts: netflix, cricket. Have spoken to both and applied funds over phone, but websites are not recognizing my passwords. When attempting to change passwords, these same applications give error messages that their sites are not working and to try again later. When representatives of each sent me email to change passwords, i did so. Still, the apps do not recognize me, and advise me to try again later. My cookies and pop-ups are not blocked, but I do have an active vpn.

I am able to log in to my bank and credit cards.
