Auto-correcting already correct words just because the iOS or OS sees this as a word you use “more often”.

This is rarely OS or iOS specific. Anyone that uses Apple products knows of this nuisance of an issue. I’ll write a perfectly clear sentence for eg “that’d be fine, go ahead”, and if I don’t opt out it will automatically correct it to “that’s be fine, go ahead”.

This happens for multiple correct words, and the only way to opt out of this irritation is by opting out of autocorrect entirely.

See it never use to be like this, you use to be able to have an autocorrection system that only corrected “incorrect” words. Gosh how helpful would that be… anyway I digress, I suppose I would just like to put this out here, it took me one afternoon to rewrite my own autocorrection system on my windows pc that does exactly what we all want. The fact that a multi trillion dollar company can’t afford to make this change is beyond me.

don’t assume that everyone will put in feedback for you if it’s a problem. Sometimes ¾ of the people affected with just not buy the product or put up with it and complain to everyone why the hate Apples OS functions. Be more interested in the quality of life improvements that we actually starve for.
