Printer no longer working with ipad

My HP printer was low on ink after printing from my IPad. I put in a new cartridge and now it will not print from my IPad. I was on the phone with tech support for a total of 3 hours. The printer says it’s connected, but nothing happens when I try to print. We have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer 4 times. Unplugged and plugged, hit resets on the back of the printer, forgot my network, then added it back, turned on airplane mode, then off, shut computer down, then back on. Any suggestions?

it worked fine before I added the cartridge.

As described, your printer may have detected an issue with the installed Print cartridge - and therefore may not print at all. Are you using genuine HP Print Cartridges? Third-party or "refilled" printer cartridges are notorious for causing issues - and may be rejected entirely by your HP Printer.

Are you able to print a test page using the printer controls (check your printer's User Manual for instructions) - print from any other devices? If the printer cannot produce a test page from its controls, you will need to seek assistance from HP Support.

Thank you for your reply. I use only new genuine HP cartridges. It prints fine from my phone. Both the iPad and printer are telling me “waiting to print”.
